The “Keep it Local” Fundraising Mobile App & Card works much like the “classic style” large coupon books that many youth, schools and other organizations used to sell.  Our card offers are web-based merchant discounts  (“coupons”), which are accessible via mobile devices. Only locally owned businesses are invited to participate.

Membership Cards not only give access to these on-line offers.  In addition, each card is customized with the group supporter’s logos featured prominently on the front of the “Snap off” section of the card.  The accompanying offers on the back of this “snap off” section are unique one-time use offers that are redeemed by using the SCRATCH OFF BAR.  The Membership Card itself fits neatly in your wallet when snapped off. Simply show your card to use those discounts at participating locally owned restaurants, boutiques and more!

Support your favorite organizations, schools, booster club, sports leagues and more when you purchase your Keep it Local Mobile App Card(s) for $20 each. The organization keeps over 50%, always!

Card Restrictions

The card must be presented at the time of purchase to redeem offer.


When ordering two or more buy-one get-one free entrees or menu items, the restaurant will deduct the price of the least expensive entrée. Be aware that certain restrictions may apply. One offer per visit.
To receive your discount be sure to present your “Keep it Local” Card when ordering, or discount cannot be honored.


The “Keep it Local” Card, parent companies, consultants or any other business associated with Creative Fundraising Concepts, LLC, assume no responsibility for any actions or significant events beyond its control. The “Keep it Local” Card has an agreement with all restaurants/merchants/businesses listed on the website.

In addition, CFC, LLC is not responsible for any restaurant/merchant/business not honoring their offer due to management change, closing of business or any other circumstances or actions taken by or related to the restaurant/merchant/business.

Further, any and all printing inaccuracies or omissions will be assumed to be human error and all liability waived.

Other Restrictions

“Keep it Local” Card Offers/Discounts are not valid at SOME restaurants/merchants on certain holidays, at the owner’s discretion. The “Keep it Local” Card Program, Logos, Website and all Printed Documents may be used to PROMOTE PARTICIPATION by a fundraising organization or business only. The participating restaurants/merchants/businesses should not be used by any other organization for marketing or advertising purposes.

Misty Smeltzer is an entrepreneur and visionary focused on promoting and enhancing businesses and civic organizations and groups within the local community. Her proven expertise and leadership in sales, promotions, business development and non-profit management have been integral to the already impressive success of the “Keep it Local” Fundraising Card and initiative.

Ms. Smeltzer is the proud recipient of two (2) City of Sarasota Mayor’s Citation awards for community leadership and service and was named as one of the “Top 100 Movers and Shakers” and “Person of the Year” in Central and Southwest Florida by Watermark Media. She studied at the University of North Carolina where she earned her B.A. in Psychology.

Western North Carolina native Travis Plumley has joined Creative Fundraising Concepts, LLC as CFO.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and has worked for many household name corporations such as BMW, Kimberly Clark, Kyocera and a well-known Residential Development Corporation with 12 subsidiaries in Arden, North Carolina.

Travis has an impressive financial background that includes responsibility for corporate treasury, tax, controllership, internal audit, operations and investor relations and we are looking forward to her leadership as our start-up continues to progress.

This in-depth corporate financial knowledge has helped Creative Fundraising Concepts, llc maintain a modest budget during start-up in order to maximize share of profit with fundraising organizations utilizing The “Keep it Local” Fundraising Mobile App. Welcome Travis!

Baylor University graduate Avery Jackson joins the innovative team at Creative Fundraising Concepts, LLC as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.  She brings with her 5 years of experience in the industry as an entrepreneur; launching her own consulting and art design business – ‘Positive Artist’.

In addition to being an accomplished artist, her creative graphics, marketing and social media skills have been utilized by several local, state and national organizations and businesses.  Avery has traveled to 21 countries which greatly influenced her passion for helping others in need.

Her inspiring, youthful approach to life adds an element of enthusiasm that enhances our expertise as a full service fundraising company.  Welcome Avery!
