What does it cost to participate?
There are no costs to place your logo and discount on the website under ‘Participating Merchants”. Your logo can appear on our printed cards for $75. Your offer will be included on a minimum of 1,000 cards.
How long is the offer valid?
All offers are valid for one year. The web-based discounts can be updated every three months. The printed logo card offer must remain the same throughout the year.
Can I participate by only offering a discount on the website … or only on the scratch-off card with my logo?
How does participation benefit my business?
The ‘Keep it Local’ Card serves as a marketing tool to help drive business your way. The card will be sold by organizations throughout Manatee and Sarasota Counties. Everyone who purchases the card has access to all discount offers online and link to a Google Map to your business.
What types of organizations sell the card?
Schools, youth sports leagues, churches and spiritual organizations, service/civic organizations and non-profits are among the participants.
What types of merchants are you inviting to participate?
Eats, treats, shopping and ‘things to do’ top the list. We welcome most types of merchants but reserve the right to deny participation. For more information on the types of merchants see the categories on the Merchant Directory page.
What do I have to do to participate?
Download and complete the Merchant Agreement with your discount offer(s) in appropriate space, sign and send it to us, or complete the online Merchant Agreement form. Since we are always local we can pick it up, too. Some merchants scan it in and email it to us.
